The bride had raved about re-creating a Pinterest photo where the bridesmaids were reacting to seeing the bride for the first time. I obliged, but afterward we took a moment to allow her father to see her as well. Her mom was standing off to the side watching them and trying to stay out of my photo, but I could see her excitement in the moment. I knew I had to capture that too. Real emotion is a thousand times better than anything we as photographers could try to recreate from someone else's day.
