Jason Domingues

I was at the rehearsal dinner the night before this shot was taken and the father of the bride walked up to me and asked if tomorrow he could get an image with his daughter. I chuckled because I thought it was a silly request, of course I was going to photograph him and his daughter. He went on to say he just wanted a moment captured of him and her. I went into that day saying if there is one image I need to hit it has to be the one of Dad and Daughter. I had no idea when it was going to happen I just needed it. We were waiting for the transportation to come around to take us to the church and dad walked around the corner and saw his Daughter for the first time. Everything about this image made me cry a bit (thinking about my daughter) watching his hand on his chest to watching her hand opening up for hug with Dad. To date this is one of my favorite images.
