Since this bridal session took place at the Museum of Modern Art, I knew I wanted to create a very graphic portrait. By placing the bride in a small sliver of deep shadow with some soft reflected light in the background, the crystal earring and the silhouette gave the hard graphic quality I was looking for while the veil added just a touch of softness to the image.
